William "Rusty" Still

Barnwell- William Russell "Rusty" Still, 55, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church, 5801 Friendship Road, Barnwell. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

Rusty was born on June 28, 1964 in Barnwell to Joseph Cannie and Dianna Hanniford Still of Barnwell. He graduated from Barnwell High School in 1982. He retired from SRS where he worked for 20 years.

Rusty loved to fish and hunt. He loved the Lord with an intensity and never went on a fishing or hunting trip without saying a prayer beforehand. He loved to make everyone laugh and have a good time no matter the circumstance. Rarely would you see him without a smile on his face. Rusty had a giving heart and contagious spirit. He touched the lives of many of those around him.

In addition to his parents, Rusty is survived by his two daughters, Jessica (Dan) Ulmer and Maci (Adam) Moore; his brother, Jody (Angie) Still; two grandsons, John Russell Ulmer and Maddix Moore; his sweetheart, Cyndi Beard and her two children, Nathan and McKinley Beard; nieces, Breanne and Nicole Still; three great nephews, Anthony, Leo and Landon Still and numerous other family members who were close to his heart.
