William "Bill" Thomas Larson

SANTEE - Mr. William "Bill" Thomas Larson, 80, of Bradford Village, Santee, husband of Marian C. Larson, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at his home. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Holly Hill Cemetery with Rev. Barry Van Deventer officiating. The family will receive friends Friday prior to the service from 10 to 10:30 at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill. Born in Elizabeth, N.J, Mr. Larson was a retired farmer and trucking executive. He was an organizer and the first fire chief of the Holland Township N.J. Fire Company. After moving to Santee he became a commissioner with the Santee Fire Department and was a member of the Santee Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by nieces and nephews.
