William Bryan "Billy" Carroll

William Bryan "Billy" Carroll, 89 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at his son's home.

Born on April 19, 1933 in Gilbert, South Carolina Billy was a Son of the late Marie Crosland Carroll and Edward Carroll.

Billy served six years in the US Air Force and was a Regional Manger for Pump and Lighting in Charlotte, NC and Cayce, SC.  In the 80's Billy moved to the farm in Holly Hill where he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family fishing at the pond. He also loved building birdhouse and gifting to others. In his younger days he was an avid square dancer.  Billy enjoyed going on cruises with his family.  He took over 20 cruises throughout his life. Billy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holly Hill for many years. 

Billy is survived by a son, Steven Carroll of Fort Mill; a daughter, Alisa Criswell of Charlotte; grandchildren, Matthew, Alex, and Bryan; a brother, JC Carroll of Holly Hill; a sister, Frances White of Charleston; his companion of many years Joann Burroughs.  Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Billy is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ash and Thomas Carroll.

The service will be held Saturday, September, 24, 2022 at 12PM at Holly Hill First Baptist Church, 8455 Old State Road.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will conclude at 3pm at Sunnyside Cemetery, 650 Summers Ave, Orangeburg.
