RIDGEVILLE - Mrs. Violet Myzell Williams, 89, of Ridgeville, widow of Jerome M. Williams, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sandridge First Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne McNeil officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Williams was born in Berkeley Co., a daughter of the late Louis Abraham Myzell and Iona Deloris Mizell Myzell. She was a retired seamstress from Manhattan Shirt Co., and a member of Sandridge First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, flowers, and reading her Bible. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a sister, Mickey Gordon; brother, Oscar Myzell; and a great-great-grandson, Trevor Tracey. Surviving are daughters, Barbara (Henry) White and Jane (Richard) Wiggins, all of Ridgeville; sisters, Geneva McSwain of Goose Creek, and Lillian Myzell of Moncks Corner; brothers, John L. (Millie) Myzell of Macedonia, Marion (Kay) Myzell of Holly Hill, Don (Maryann) Myzell and Daniel (Sharon) Myzell, all of Ridgeville; sister-in-law, Marie Myzell of Ridgeville; brother-in-law, Ernie Williams of Jedburg; Aunt, June Rast of Bowman; grandchildren, Kenneth (Sharon) Kubischke of Ridgeville, Jay (Theresa) White of N. Charleston, Stacy (Collin) Hall of Summerville, great-grandchildren, Kayla Campbell and Erica Hilton, both of Ridgeville; Rebecca (Charles) Ward and Jacob Hall, both of Summerville, and James White of N. Charleston; great-great-grandchildren, Ava Campbell and Kelry Campbell, both of Canada, and Zoey Hilton of Ridgeville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. this Thursday at Avinger Funeral Home, Holly Hill.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sandridge First Baptist Church, 4677 State Road, Ridgeville, SC 29472.
