HOLLY HILL - Thomas Leon "TL" Scott, 78, of Holly Hill, husband of Mollie Platt Scott, died Monday, November 11, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at The Church of God, Holly Hill, with Rev. Carl Shaffer officiating. Burial, directed by Avinger Funeral Home, will follow in the Platt Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 12:30 until the hour of service. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Sylvia Paige Scott and Dr. Teresa Williams; and siblings, Pattie Weatherford, Jewell Scott, Carol Scott, Vinell Browning, Gene Scott, and Stevie Bishop Scott.
