Tibor P. Pinter

SANTEE, SC - Tibor Pal Pinter, 102, of Santee, SC, formerly of Hammond, IN, widower of Katalin Pinter, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at The Magnolias of Santee. A memorial mass will be held later in the Spring at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in East Chicago, IN. Tibor was born in Budapest, Hungary, he, his wife, and son, Gabor immigrated to the United States in 1957. He was a retired Dental Technician and enjoyed music and gardening. Surviving are a daughter, Suzanna Pinter and her husband, Andy Oakley, of Blairstown, NJ; son, Gabor Pinter and his wife, Joanie of Santee, SC; grandchildren, Glen Oakley and Ryan Oakley of Blairstown, NJ, Emma Pinter and her husband, Jonathon Hess, of Westminster, CO, and Rebekah Pinter of Boulder, CO; great-grandchildren, Abigail Pinter-Hess and Isabella Pinter-Hess.
