VANCE - Funeral services for Terry Lee "Mud Hog" Martin, 53, of Vance, widower of April Bair-Martin, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, Eutawville, with Rev. Kenny Bunch and Rev. Dave Salvo officiating. Burial will follow in the Hungerpiller Cemetery, Elloree. Terry died Thursday, July 12, 2012. A native of Eutawville, he was a son of Gladys Brown Martin and the late Charles Mack "Boots" Martin. He was a graduate of Holly Hill High School and a welder with CMS. Terry was a gentle, loving person who liked gardening, and enjoyed people. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Surviving are his mother of Eutawville; a sister, Jo Ann (Chuck) Duncan of Eutawville; a brother, Charles M. "Bubba" (Jan) Martin of Orangeburg; nieces, Angie Martin and Jennifer Collins; nephews, Al Duncan, Joey Duncan, and Vince Duncan; and a number of great-nieces and great-nieces. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. this Saturday at Avinger Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Gladys Martin.
