Stuart H. Cone

COLUMBIA - Stuart Harlan Cone, 29, of Columbia, husband of Kaitlin Humes Cone, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Lexington Medical Center. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Rd., Holly Hill, SC. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 until the hour of service. Stuart was born n Brunswick, Ga., a son of Harriet Shingler Cone Roddey and the late Jimmy C. Cone. He was a graduate of Columbia International University, and an active member of the Church of the Apostles. Surviving are his wife of the home; his mother and step-father, Leroy Roddey, of Moncks Corner; brothers, Frank Hydrick of Columbia, and Josh and Justin Roddey of Moncks Corner; sisters, Candy Fleming of Moncks Corner and Eva Derr of Savannah, Ga.; aunt, Teresa Shingler of Summerville; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathy and Lonnie Humes of Columbia. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
