Steven M. Hill

EUTAWVILLE - Steven M. Hill, 57, of Eutawville passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in a Charleston hospital. A visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. this Friday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill with a funeral service to follow at 8:30. Burial, with military rites, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Steven was born in Asheville, NC, a son a Rubye McBrayer Hill and the late Dewey Hill. He retired from the Navy having served during Desert Storm, and was currently a truck driver. Steven was vice president of the Eutawville Lions Club, and was commander of VFW Post 9509 in Moncks Corner. He was a marine mechanic, and was operator of the former Miracle Marine in Eutawville. Surviving are his mother of Eutawville; and a brother, Terry (Kerri) Hill of Goose Creek. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to John M. (Mr. Mac) VFW Post 9509, 1141 S. Live Oak Dr., Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
