Ruth G. Caddell

EUTAWVILLE - Mrs. Ruth Grooms Caddell, 77, of Eutawville, widow of James L. Caddell, Jr., died Sunday in a Charleston hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Spring Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Kenneth Burr officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Caddell was born in Berkeley County, a daughter of the late John Olinger Grooms and Roaslee Singletary Grooms. She was a member of Spring Hill UMC, and was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Caddell and a brother, Johnny Grooms. Surviving are a daughter, Wanda (Chris) Cox of Eutawville; a son, Glenn (Denise) Caddell of Sandridge; sisters, Patricia White of Pinopolis, and Judy Stillinger of Sandridge; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
