Ronald Weatherford

, Ronald "Ronnie" Weatherford, 62 of Prosperity, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Born on December 22, 1962 in Orangeburg, Ronnie was a son of Calvin Weatherford Jr. and the late Sandra Kinard Weatherford.

Ronnie was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, ’Pepaw,’ and friend to many. Some of his greatest joys in life, other than his grandkids, were spending time out with family and friends. He loved to be on the go and during his many adventures, he always found time for some shopping as he loved buying gifts to give to friends and loved ones. In some of his down time at home, Ronnie loved to cook, bake and craft for himself and especially for others. Christmas was one of his favorite times of the year. He took so much joy in decorating then and for all holidays and loved helping others decorate their homes also to share the holiday spirit.

Unfortunately, Ronnie endured many health challenges, but his undeniable love for Jesus Christ gave him the faith and hope he needed to remain his unwavering self. He was very outgoing and outspoken; even in the tough times, he was always joking around, making people laugh.

Ronnie will be greatly missed by so many, but we find peace in knowing he is reunited in heaven with his mother, who he so greatly adored. May he rest peacefully in the house of the Lord forever.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 1:00-2:00PM at Pressley Memorial Church. A service will follow at 2:00PM. Burial will conclude in the Eutawville Cemetery.
