Robert Schubauer

HOLLY HILL- Robert Schubauer, 76, husband of Shirley Pechart Schubauer, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at home. Mr. Schubauer was born in Harrisburg, PA, a son of the late Charles R. Schubauer and Clair E. Manley Schubauer. He retired from Roadway Express, Inc .and was a member of Teamster Local 776, Member of Eureka-West Shore Lodge No. 302 of Mechanicsburg, PA. He was a member of Target United Methodist Church, served as a Trustee and on the PPRC committee. Enjoyed being a member of Gamecock City Sam's Camping Club of Sumter, SC, and helping with repairs at the Hebron Grace Home. Mr. Schubauer was predeceased by his loving daughter, Cheryl A. Schubauer, and a sister, Joan Keller. Mr. Schubauer is survived by his wife; a son, Robert (Brenda) Schubauer of Mechanicsburg, PA; a sister, Betsy Espeland of Millersburg, PA; brothers, Charles Schubauer, Jr., Ronald (Nancy) Schubauer, both of Carlisle, PA, and Walter G. (Nancy) Schubauer of Palmyra, PA. Services will be held 2 pm Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Target United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed Stiltz officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the Social Hall of the church.
