Richard George Scovell

Richard George Scovell, 75 of Eutawville, South Carolina, husband of Karen Rice Scovell, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023.  

Born on October 21, 1947 in Trenton, New Jersey, Richard was a son of the late Doris Little Scovell and George Scovell.

Richard served in the United States Air Force for 22 years and worked for the Civil Service as an Aircraft Mechanic.  He was a fabricator and loved working with wood and metal.  Richard was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He was a wonderful husband, amazing dad, and Opa and will truly be missed.

Richard is survived by his wife; son, Brian Scovell (Kayla); daughter, Melissa Killion (Ryan Dial); Grandchildren, Shelea Ann and Jimmy; great granddaughter, Sophia; and a brother, Dave Scovell (Darlene).

Richard is preceded in death by his parents.

A service for Richard with military honors will be held at a later date.
