Ray Kinsey, 72 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, husband to Judy Kinsey of 54 years, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. 

Born on January 4, 1951 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Ray was a son of the late Carolyn Hart Kinsey and Doris Ray Kinsey. 

Ray was born and raised in Holly Hill. He was the manager at Skyline Limited for 21 years and retired from Holcim Cement.  Ray loved cooking and canning, especially artichoke relish. He enjoyed the outdoor, hunting and fishing.  Ray was a Mason with Vance Masonic Lodge #230. He was very dedicated to his family and was the best PawPaw ever.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Darlene Shuler. 

Ray is survived by his wife, Judy Kinsey,  daughters, Amy Singletary (Glen) and Shelia Williams (Charles); son, R. Walter Kinsey (Amanda); brother, Kelly Kinsey (Brenda); grandchildren, Crystal Bunch (JR), Daniel Singletary (Hope), Matthew Singletary, Dalton Kinsey, Tiffany Williams, Isaiah Arbogast, Noel Williams, Little Charlie Williams IV, Cameron Kinsey and Brayden Kinsey "Little Britches"; great grandchildren, Bethany and Jacob Bunch and many other extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 24, from 6-8PM at Avinger Funeral Home. Services will be held privately at a later date.
