Paul Wolpert

Gary Paul Wolpert, 30, a lifelong resident of Holly Hill, South Carolina, husband to Sherry Miles Wolpert of 10 years, passed away unexpectedly in Eutawville on Friday, January 21, 2022. Born on June 21, 1991 in North Charleston, South Carolina, Paul is a son of Gary Paul Wolpert Sr. and Patricia Sweatman Wolpert.

Paul grew up in Holly Hill, he attended Holly Hill Academy and graduated from Bowman Academy in 2009. Paul worked in Maintenance as a Mechanic with the Argos Cement Plant in Harleyville. Paul will be remembered by his family and friends for his love of Life and People. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing golf, shooting pool with the APA League and upholding his family's legacy of cooking. He enjoyed live entertainment, playing his guitar, singing and living life to the fullest. However nothing compared to the Love and the time that Paul held for his family, both the one he came from and the one he formed and spent many days of his life with. Paul held a very special bond with his son, Bryson, teaching him the ways of life, spending time in the outdoors and how to enjoy life. Paul also had a unique love for his chocolate lab, Rooster.

Paul is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bub and Margie Sweatman; his paternal grandmother, Joan Wolpert and numerous members of his extended family.

Those who will most cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sherry Miles Wolpert of Holly Hill: his Son, Bryson Wolpert of Holly Hill; his parents, Gary and Patricia Wolpert of Holly Hill; his sister, Amanda Weatherford and her husband, Troy of Holly Hill; his in laws, Danny and Tina Miles of Holly Hill; his brother in law, Justin Miles of Aiken, SC; his niece, Hanna Weatherford; his nephews, Brody Miles and Micha Miles; his paternal grandfather, Harry Wolpert of Eutawville; his wife's grandmother, Nana, Sandra McCravy of Cross, SC. Paul is also survived by many members of his extended family.

A gathering of Paul's family and friends for a time of reflection will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill. Graveside services to remember and honor Paul's life will be at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Holly Hill. Reverend Tommy Wolpert, Paul's Uncle will officiate.

Honoring Paul as Pallbearers will be Ryan Chavis, Trey Courtney, Michael Feagin, Ricky Gerrald, Robbie Hill, and Adam Truett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Paul`s memory may be sent to the Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery Care Fund, PO Box 595, Eutawville, SC 29048 or to a Care Fund which is to be set up to assist with future care with Bryson at Farmers and Merchants Bank of Eutawville.
