Paul W. “ Bill ” Cummins, 85 of Harleyville, SC, widower of Janet Cummins, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Cummins was born March 28, 1936 in Birmingham, Alabama a son of the late Paul William Cummins Sr. and Gladys Hamrick Cummins.

Bill was a retired heavy maintenance mechanic for Santee Cement Company and a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a devoted member and Deacon Emeritus of Harleyville First Baptist Church.

Surviving family members include two daughters Terry Cummins of Deltona, Florida, Wendy (Clay) Mims of Harleyville, granddaughter Connie Mims of Charleston, grandson Bill Mims of Columbia and a great grand daughter Winnie Mims of Columbia. Also surviving is his sister Beverly (A.Q.) Taylor of Jacksonville, Florida and several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 from 5PM-7PM at Avinger Funeral Home 2274 Eutaw Rd. Holly Hill, SC. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11AM at Harleyville First Baptist Church, 211 W. Main St. Harleyville, SC. Burial will follow in the Harleyville Cemetery.

Memorial Donations in memory of Bill may be made to Harleyville First Baptist Church.
