Patsy Thompson

Patsy Thompson, 65 of Saint George, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at a Charleston Hospital with her husband by her side.

Born on May 22, 1957 in Tampa, FL, she he was a Daughter of the late Lorene Mitchell Stringfield and Thomas Ed Stringfield.

Patsy was a loving housewife and mother.  She was a firm believer in her family. Patsy never met a stranger and when she met a friend they became like her family. Patsy in her younger days loved horses and horseback riding.  

Patsy is survived by her husband, Stephen; daughter, Christina Laudenslager; granddaughter, Jodi Thompson; sisters, Lisa Dyches, Sandy Dyches and Doris Mitchell; step-brothers, Jerry Shaw and Glenn Shaw; step-sisters, Brenda Davis, Jill Whooten, and Brenda Ferguson; her fur babies forever, Pepper, Romeo and Dusty; other family and close friends , Kim Ferguson, Renee Scruggs, Sheryl Pursley, Linda Walker, Carla Amaker, Ginny Mitchell, and Debbie King with many more.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jody Thompson, brothers, James Mitchell and David Stringfield.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 1PM at the Harleyville Cemetery.  Officiating  will be Haskell Parler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any animal rescue or St. Judes Hospital.
