ORANGEBURG - Patsy Jackson King, 64, of Orangeburg, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at her sister's home in Holly Hill after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Target United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Stiltz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Patsy was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late A.B. Jackson and Lena Barber Jackson Ott. She was a loan officer at OneMain Financial in Orangeburg and a former job coordinator at OC Tech. Patsy was co-owner of the former King's Pub and the Catch and Cleaver Restaurant in Orangeburg. She was a member of Target UMC. Surviving are her long-time companion, Randolph "Sonny" Tager of Orangeburg; daughters, Danielle (Andy) Thomas and Angela Carson (Rusty Weeks), all of Orangeburg; sisters, Irene (Charles) Walters and Alice Bernie Humphries, all of Holly Hill; grandchildren, Stephanie LaFrance, Ricky Carson, Victoria Thomas, Brandon Thomas, and Daniel Thomas; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Crummie, Ethan Joyner, and Audrianna Carson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this Friday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill, and other times at the home of Andy and Danielle Thomas or Charles and Irene Walters.
