Myrtle Beach- Mylena Daugherty, 24, of Myrtle Beach passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018.
She was born on May 6, 1994 in Charleston, daughter of Sabrina Strickland of Holly Hill and Joseph Daugherty of Irmo. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Avinger Funeral Home.
Mylena was a free spirit, she gave her heart, soul and life until the end and still continues to give. She loved life, riding her motorcycle and spending time with her family. The apple of her eye was her son, Leyton who she adored. Mylena was a beautiful girl inside and out and the world is going to be much darker place now without her. She never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors are her parents; a son, Leyton; siblings, Jacob, Chase and Brandon Daugherty and Kaylee Lewis; maternal grandfather, Jim Strickland; paternal grandparents, Brenda and Joseph Daugherty and numerous cousins.
