Millie Smoak

Mildred "Millie" Pauline Smoak, 78, of Holly Hill, wife to Issac Dykes Smoak of 58 years, entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Born on May 12, 1943 in Dunlow, West Virginia, Millie was a daughter of the late Samuel Jennings Perry and Irene Mae Perry.

Millie spent many years in retail management. Millie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Millie is survived by her son, Greg Smoak (Toni); her daughter; Kim Smoak (Donnie); her brother; David "Mike" Perry (Cheryl); her sister; Sandra "Sunny" Ellison (Chuck); 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews.

Millie was predeceased by her parents; by her son Ronald "Ron" Smoak; her grandson; Austin Tyler Smoak; her brothers; Walter "Dick" Perry, James Douglas "Doug" Perry; and her sister; Juanita "June" Wood.

Services for Millie will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11AM at Avinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice of Sumter and daughter-in-law Toni for their loving care of Millie.
