Mike Anthony Byrd

Mike Anthony Byrd, 57 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

Born on March 11, 1967 in Walterboro, SC Mike was a son of the late Linda Tipton Byrd and Frank Byrd.

Mike worked for many years in the construction industry working at Holcim for 17 years. He traveled many places to work and was known for being a hard worker and getting the job done. If it was broken Mike always found a way to fix it. His business cards even read "Mr. FixIt". Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing. Especially fishing, where Mike said he could always find peace on the water. He loved his family and always made sure they came first and were cared for. 

Mike is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Driggers and nephews Nicholas Byrd and Laken Constantin.

Mike is survived by daughters Heather Byrd and Kristen Byrd; son John Michael Byrd; sisters Tammy Constantin (Rob) and Karen Brown; brother Devin Byrd (Lisa); grandchildren Jayden, Bryson, Braylen, Traityn, and Knightlyn; the mother of his children Lisa Byrd; 18 nieces, 10 nephews and a number of aunts and uncles. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 1PM at Avinger Funeral Home. A service will follow in the chapel at 2PM with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating.
