HOLLY HILL - Michael Wayne Reed, 39, of Holly Hill, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at MUSC hospital in Charleston. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Locke officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. this Thursday evening at Avinger Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Dennis Weaver, Chuck Nichols, Tony Myers, David Oglesby, Wayne Mobley, and Tommy Breland. Honorary pallbearers will be SCISA officials. Michael died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at MUSC hospital in Charleston. A native of Holly Hill, Michael was the son of Michael "Mac" Reed and Trudie Reed. He was a graduate of Holly Hill Academy, and attended Coastal Carolina University and O-C Tech. A member of Corinth Baptist Church, Michael was an avid SCISA official and volunteer coach at Holly Hill Academy. In addition to his parents of Holly Hill; he is survived by a daughter, Hailey Reed of Holly Hill; a sister, LeeAnne R. Pace (Mike) of Holly Hill; step-daughter, Ariel McCrory of Orangeburg; niece, Michaela Pace of Holly Hill; nephew, Jeremy Pace of Holly Hill; and aunts, Frankie Dantzler (Woody) of Santee, Windy Reed (Emory) and Phyllis Stoudenmire (Dennis), both of Holly Hill. Friends may call at the residence and at Avinger Funeral Home.
