Holly Hill- Mervin "Merv" Stoudemire,72 , husband of Donna Behling Stoudemire, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 14 ,2019 at Corinth Baptist Church with Reverend Dan Johnson and Reverend Buddy Locke officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at Avinger Funeral Home Thursday, June 13, 2019. Pallbearers will be Walter Kinsey, Dalton Kinsey, Thomas Breland, Blain Pritcher, Gray Pritcher and Jay Rush.
He was born on November 10, 1946 in Orangeburg, son of the late Victor and Bertha Hilton Stoudemire. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, James "Shot" Stoudemire.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Donna Stoudemire; children, Crystal Stoudemire (Stewart Winslow), Victor Stoudemire, III (Nicole), Shyann Stoudemire; one granddaughter, Madalyn Stoudemire.
Memorials may be made to Corinth Baptist Church, PO Box 69, Vance, SC 29163 or Holly Hill Cemetery Fund, PO Box 2, Holly Hill, SC 29059.
