Margaret Ann Randall, 87 of Eutawville, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
Born on March 17, 1936 in Monticello, GA, she was a Daughter of Debrotha Waycaster Kennedy and Laurence Kennedy.
Margaret, or Ann as she was known to her friends, was a faithful Christian and belonged to a Church for most of her life. Her most recent and longest Church association was with Eutawville First Baptist Church in Eutawville. She loved this Church home and its members, many of whom were close personal friends, as well as sisters and brothers in the Lord.
Margaret married Andrew D. Johnson in 1954 and raised three children (Andy, Julie, and Gary) while he served in the United States Air Force. He died in 1991. When he became ill, she stayed by his side, monitoring his care and comforting him throughout the entire ordeal.
She remarried in 1999 to Harry W. Randall, a long-time resident of the Holly Hill-Eutawville area, and added two more daughters to her family (Rhonda and Rhea). Margaret and Harry loved and enjoyed each other's company, traveling and laughing together until his untimely death in 2006. He was greatly missed by her.
Margaret worked many years as a Customer Service Representative in retail settings. She liked the challenges of the job but truly enjoyed the social interaction with clients and co-workers. She was friendly to all she encountered and cultivated relationships. Later, while in assisted living, she would joke with and tease her caregivers and the other residents. Many at the facility were visibly moved at her passing. Margaret lived as a widow but not alone until her death. She had her beloved friends, family, murder mystery novels, crossword books, and most importantly, her Lord to keep her company.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents.
Margaret is survived by her sons Andy Johnson and Gary Johnson (Barbara); daughter Julie Blasingame (Alex); step-daughters Rhonda Sikes (Wil) and Rhea Kryger; grandchildren Laura Martin (Tony), Brittany Kelley and Robert Kelley.
The service will be held at 10AM on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at First Baptist Church Eutawville, 507 Factory Road in Eutawville, South Carolina.
