EUTAWVILLE - Maggie Jackson Singletary, 62, of Eutawville, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 in a Columbia hospital. Funeral services will be 12 noon on Wednesday at Pressley Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. Entombment will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Avinger Funeral Home Maggie was born in Harleyville, a daughter of the late Herbert Jackson and Beulah Huff Jackson. She liked the mountains, fishing, Clemson football and NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Jr. She was preceded in death by sisters, Ann Rudd, and Bertha Lee Rudd; and brothers, John "Bootsie" Jackson, Stonewall "Stoney" Jackson, and Herbert Jackson, Jr. Surviving are sons, Carl Singletary, Jr. and Donald Singletary, both of Eutawville; and a brother, Terry (Robin) Jackson of Florence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
