Lottie Scott

Lottie B. Scott, 91 of Cordova, South Carolina widow of Louie Scott passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2024.

Born on April 15, 1933 in Eutawville, SC Lottie was a daughter of the late Annie Weatherford Jackson and Thomas Jackson.

Lottie was an active member of Victory Hill Church of God. She enjoyed reading and caring for children at her home and in her church. Lottie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Lottie is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a daughter JoAnn Rudd.

Lottie is survived by daughters Lillian Rider, Kathleen Kester, Shirley Moore, and Belle Neese; son, Lewis Scott; sisters Jessie Lee Garrett, Hattie Gainey, Mattie Bolen, and Minnie Infinger; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10am at Avinger Funeral Home. The service will follow in the chapel at 11am. Burial will conclude at Holly Gardens.

Those serving as pallbearers are Jeremy Diehl, Chris Ellis, Ernie Moore, Bubba Neese, Kerwin Rider, and Joshua Rider.

The family request dress for the service be casual.
