Lila Mae W. Moorer

HOLLY HILL-Mrs. Lila Mae Wannamaker Moorer, 94, widow of William Benjaman "Bill" Moorer, of Holly Hill, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at the Summerville Medical Center. The funeral will be 3 p.m. this Monday, Oct. 8, at Providence United Methodist Church. The Rev. Terry Martin and the Rev. Karen Starr will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Moorer was born in Bowman, a daughter of the late Henry Marvin Wannamaker and Elizabeth Marie Wimberly Wannamaker. She was a member of the Providence United Methodist Church and she was a graduate of Bowman High School. Survivors are daughters, Joyce M. Myers of North Augusta and Peggy M. (J.C.) Reeves of Reevesville; grandchildren, Lowell W. (Teri) Myers of Augusta, Ga.,, Walter B. Myers of North Augusta, Becky R. (Ralph) Proctor of Reevesville, Jeffery C. (Lynne') Reeves of Elloree, Gregory W. (Jill) Reeves of St. George and Kevin O. (Tracy) Reeves of Reevesville; great-grandchildren, Erin Myers, Jonsey Proctor, Taylor Reeves, Jesse Reeves, Reeves Proctor, Matthew Reeves, Madison Reeves, Addie Reeves and Sabine Reeves. The family will receive friends at the church before the service beginning at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Providence United Methodist Church, 4037 Vance Road, Holly Hill, SC 29059.
