Lee Bardin Blackman

October 26, 1938 — April 20, 2021

Lee Bardin Blackman Sr, 82, of Santee, entered into eternal rest on April 20, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Born on October 26, 1938 in Elloree, Lee was a son of the late Dr. Noah Howard Blackman and Minnie Lee Bardin Blackman.

Lee retired from his career after 50 years of service as a medical technologist at Baker Hospital and Roper Hospital. He was a Brother of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free Masons Charity Lodge No. 62, Elloree, SC and Franklin Lodge #96, Charleston, SC, Omar Shrine Temple 76, Mount Pleasant, SC. He was a member of the American College of Nursing Home Administrators and the South Carolina Society of American Medical Technologists. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collector cars.

Besides his wife, Mary Ross Blackman (Bullock) of 62 years, Lee is survived by his daughter Katherine Blackman (Harry Smoak) and son Lee Bardin Blackman, Jr. (Tamalyn) and grandson, Lee Bardin Blackman, III all of Elloree, SC.

A graveside service and burial will be held at Jerusalem United Methodist Church Cemetery 7361 SC Highway 6, Elloree, SC, Friday, April 23 at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lee`s memory may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church, 390 Hampton St., Elloree, SC 29047.
