Kenneth "Ken" C. Weatherford

Kenneth “Ken” Carliss Weatherford, 38 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Born on August 14, 1984 in Charleston, South Carolina Ken was a son of Julia Myers (Andy) and Kenneth Weatherford (Peggy).

Ken loved life and lived big. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed working on motorcycles and vehicles. For Ken, the dirtier he was the better. He was most happy when he was on the lake or in the woods. Ken enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Ken is survived by his parents; sisters, Shaina Grooms (JW), Kelli Thomas (Tony), Amanda Myers, and Julie Weaver (John); brother, Tony Myers (Lori); aunt, Kathy Hogan (Leon); uncle, Ernest Weatherford (Julie); nieces, Abbi, Julianna, Alissa, Ava, Lois and Mila; nephews, Colten, AJ, Jacob, Hunter, Mason and Eli; and numerous cousins.

Ken was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, CB and Mary Browder and paternal grandparents, Boots and Ruby Weatherford.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 6-7:30pm with a service to follow at 7:30PM in the Avinger Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be held privately.
