Julia Williams

EUTAWVILLE - Julia Moorer Williams, 90,of Eutawville, wife of Watson "Watty" Williams, Jr., passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in a Columbia hospital. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Southern Methodist Church with Rev. John Courson and Rev. Barry Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church before the service beginning at 3 p.m. Julia was born in Holly Hill, a daughter of the late Capers Brantley Moorer and Jessie Singletary Moorer. She attended Columbia College and was a partner with her husband in Home Insurance Agency. Julia was a member of Bethlehem Southern Methodist Church and a charter member of the Swamp Fox Boat Club. She enjoyed arts and crafts. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Jenny Williams (Stephan) Crane of Winter Haven, Fla, and Cathy Winningham of Harleyville; a son, Steve (Sherrie) Williams of Lexington, NC; a sister, Mary (Corky) Reisdorf of Cape Coral, Fla; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
