Judie C. Hughes

Judie C. Hughes, 74, of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Walterboro, South Carolina following an Illness.

Born on January 31, 1948 in Holly Hill, SC, she was a daughter of the late, Edna (Platt) Crummie and Hudson Crummie.

Judie will be remembered by her family for her kindness, her loving nature and her devotion to her family.  During her spare time she enjoyed going fishing and vacationing at Disney World with her family.

Judie is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Theresa Crummie; sister, Jewell Crummie; brothers, Floyd Crummie, Danny Crummie, Hodge Crummie and Ronnie Crummie.

Judie is survived by her husband, Gaudencio " T " Torres Lopez of St. George; her daughter, Vanessa Castillo of Holly Hill; her sister, Cecelia Ardis of Holly Hill; her brothers, Stanley Crummie of Holly Hill and Monroe Crummie of Santee; her granddaughter, Selena Torres of Holly Hill; two grandsons, Jose Castillo of Charleston and Joshua Lee Gilbert of Summerville.  Judie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and members of her extended family. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Evening Light Church of God, 681 Bayview Street in Holly Hill, South Carolina.  The service will be held at  2:00 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Evening Light Church of God, 681 Bayview Street in Holly Hill, South Carolina. The burial will be held at Scott Family Cemetery in Holly Hill.
