Juanita "Nita" Graham Owens

HOLLY HILL - Mrs. Juanita "Nita" Graham Owens, 87, widow of Lamar Owens, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Holly Hill, with Dr. David Brien and Rev. Earl Behr officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Owens was born in Russellville, a daughter of the late James H. Graham and Alpha Lee James Graham. She was a graduate of St. Stephen High School, and was a long time associate of the Holly Hill Florist. Surviving are two daughters, Donna (Michael) DeSantis and Denise (Howard) Teller, both of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Bruce (Marica) Owens of Holly Hill; and three grandchildren, Owen Tyler and Erin Hanssen, both of Mt. Pleasant, and Taylor Owens of Holly Hill. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
