HOLLY HILL - Johnny Glatin Platt, 54, of Holly Hill, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Avinger Funeral Home with Brother Clinton Crummie presiding. Entombment will follow in the Platt Cemetery. Johnny was born in Holly Hill, the son of Tommie Platt and Deseree Platt. He was a general superintendent with Carolina Bridge Builders. Surviving are his parents of Holly Hill; daughters, Angel (Jason) Moyer of Harleyville, Kellie Platt of Lexington and Madelynn Platt of Harleyville; a son, Jonathan Shawn Platt of Holly Hill; step-son, Travis Sweatman of Harleyville; sister, Margaret (Randy) Crummie of Holly Hill; four grandchildren; and two nieces. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at the funeral home.
