Joan (Gypie) M. Stillwell

Joan (Gypie) Marlene Stillwell, 87 of Summerton, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2023. 

Born on February 26, 1936 in Trenton, NJ Joan was a Daughter of the late Mary Hengeli Stutz and Edward Stutz. 

Joan loved to cook Hungarian food for her family. She loved to go to the beach and boating with her husband. Long Beach Island New Jersey (LBI) was a very special place to her. Joan liked listening to music especially Frank Sinatra, and even loved to sing some herself.  She was a member of the Elks Lodge in New Jersey.  Joan was a very social person and loved entertaining. She will be remembered for always doing it "My Way".

Joan is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edward Stillwell.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Patricia Tafrow (Thomas); her son, Edward Stillwell (Stacy) ; Grandchildren, Stephanie Harvilla, Andrew Harvilla (Becca), Eddie Stillwell, and Dona Stillwell; and one great grandchild, Ranger Harvilla.

Services will be held privately at a later date in New Jersey.
