Jimmy Lee Weatherford

EUTAWVILLE - Jimmy Lee Weatherford, Sr., 66, of Eutawville, husband of Delores "Sugar Pea" Weatherford, died Friday, May 15, 2015 at his home. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Pressley Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ed Hanna officiating. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. Jimmy was born in Berkeley County, a son of the late Jessie Weatherford and Lois Yount Hopkins. A former iron worker, he liked to fish and enjoyed collecting coins and arrowheads. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Angie (Wesley) Hughes of Eutawville; a son, Jim (DeeAnne) Weatherford of Holly Hill; sister, Sylvia "Bean" (Johnny) Weatherford of Eutawville; brothers, William Weatherford of Eutawville and Lewis "Bookum" (Joyce) Weatherford of Orangeburg; grandchildren, Greg (Lianna) Clark and Sabrina Clark of Eutawville, Savannah and Brandin Weatherford of Holly Hill; and a great-granddaughter, Lindsay Clark. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday prior to the funeral at the church and other times at the home of Jim and DeeAnne Weatherford, 174 Salisberry Rd., Holly Hill.
