Jack L. Burbage, Sr.

SANTEE, SC -Jack L. Burbage, 85, passed away at home on Saturday, August 5, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Jack was born on May 27th, 1932 in Charleston, SC. He was the middle son of Mamie and Thomas Burbage. After serving in the Korean War, he located to Aliquippa, PA, where he lived for 63 years before returning to Charleston. He worked as an electrician at J L Steel for 30 years. Jack was a member of VFW Post 10980 of Eutawville. He is survived by his loving companion of 22 years, Ms. Pegge Chestnut; a brother, Wilbur; sisters Dorothy, Mary, and Julie; a son, Keith and his family; numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and five sisters. Interment will be private.
