EUTAWVILLE-Harvey DeWayne Walker, 76 of Eutawville, widower of Sandy Walker, died November 9, 2013 at the Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg, SC. A graveside service with full Military Rites will be at 11a.m. Thursday in the Eutawville Cemetery with the Rev. John F. Scott officiating. Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery. "Dee" was born on January 4, 1937 in Pennsylvania, son of the late John Perry Walker and Lucy Mildred Raines Walker. He is predeceased in death by a brother John Perry Walker. He was retired from the US Navy and a member of the First Baptist Church, Holly Hill. He is survived by his beloved pet Sassy; special friends, Carol and James Russell of Cordova; Vincent LaNoue, whom he thought of as his son from Shreveport, LA; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to thank Nancy Fair DuBose, the Hospice Care of SC., and the Staff at the Oaks for their care and kindness.
