Harriet Jean (Shingler) Roddey, 71, of Eutawville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 4, 2018.
Harriet settled in Moncks Corner, SC with her husband and love of her life Eulis LeRoy Roddey. She was a devoted and loving mother and found the upmost joy in being “Granny” not only to her grandchildren but to all of the children she selflessly took under her wing. She will be missed and loved by so many. She is proceeded by her parents James H. Shingler and Elizabeth Shingler, as well as her son Stuart Harlan Cone. She is survived by her husband Eulis LeRoy Roddey, sister Teresa R. Shingler, son John I. Hydrick, daughter Candace L. O’Quinn, grandchildren Jenna L. O’Quinn, Katrina M. O’Quinn, John C. O’Quinn and two Great grandchildren Easton R. Burbage and Harlan R. O’Quinn.Family and friends will gather for a grave side service at 10 a.m. on Saturday July 7, at Eutawville cemetery.
