Grace E. Cooper

Grace Risher Cooper, 62, of Harleyville SC gained her angel wings peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, July 22nd 2018 at her residence.

Visitation will take place on Thursday July 26th from 11 AM - 1 PM with funeral services immediately following at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill, SC with Reverend Linda Boodle officiating. Burial will be held after funeral services at Bethel UMC of Dorchester, SC.

Pallbearers will be John Rast, Nicholas Stearns, Michael Rast, Ethan Pritcher, Kevin Risher, and Wesley Risher.

She was born in Dorchester County on February 21st, 1956. Grace is the daughter of the late Virgil B. Risher and Mary Ellen Risher. She worked as a Medical Lab Technician at Summerville Medical Center and formerly at Dr. Robert Silgals Oncology Office. Grace was loved by all who she came into contact with.

Survivors include her husband Andrew G. Cooper Jr. of Harleyville, daughters Andrea and John Rast of Cameron, Brandy Craig of Harleyville, Rebecca and Nicholas Stearns of Harleyville; seven grandkids Michael, Elizabeth, Kirsten, and Victoria Rast of Cameron, Ethan and Bella Pritcher and Emily Craig of Harleyville. One brother Virgil Benjamin and Martha Risher Jr. of Holly Hill.
