George Richard Elenbark Sr.

George Richard Elenbark Sr., 77 of Vance, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Born on October 2, 1946 in Camden, New Jersey he was a son of the late Elizabeth Reimel Elenbark and Howard Elenbark.

George was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed shooting on the pool leagues in New Jersey and South Carolina. For many years George worked in the construction industry and always found time to talk and get to know those he worked for who eventually became friends. George will be remembered for his love for all.  We are convinced that his heart was strained because everyone he met, he shared his love and kindness with and treated them as if he had known them forever.

George is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Howard Elenbark; sister, Linda Elenbark and a granddaughter, Jennifer Stahl.

George is survived by his wife, JoAnn Elenbark; sons, George Elenbark, Jr. and Gary Elenbark (Lynn); a daughter, Joan Stahl (John); a brother, Robert Elenbark (Debbie); stepchildren, Roy Strachan (Karen), Michael Strachan (Virginia), and Jennifer Amato; grandchildren, Justine Stahl, Johnny Stahl, Jessica Brazell, Gary Elenbark, Jr., Christine Elenbark, Megan Strachan, Alexa Amato, Sophia Amato, Olivia Amato, Devon Carney and Michael Carney; great grandchildren, Liam, Addie, Jaxon, Izabella, Elizabeth and Vienna; a special niece and nephew, Bill and Patty Busch and the rest of his extended family.

Service will be held privately by the family. The family welcomes you to visit them at the residence.
