HOLLY HILL - Esther Cagle Coker, 86, of Holly Hill, widow of David G. Coker, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Target United Methodist Church in Holly Hill with Rev. Dr. Barry Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Melvin Dantzler, Mike Summers, Justin Nivens, Kevin Mears, Damon Rose, and Bryan Shelton. Esther was born in Ashland City, Tenn., a daughter of the late John Cheatham Cagle and Atlanta Dora Binkley Cagle. She was a member of Target UMC and was preceded in death by a daughter, Deane. Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Coker Rembert of St. George; a son, Mike Coker of Eutawville; sisters, Christine Felts and Agnes Lloyd, both of Joelton, Tenn.; a brother, Johnny (Dorothy) Cagle of Cheyenne, WO; grandchildren, Tracey Coker Rembert of Asheville, Justin Nivens of Orangeburg, Lauren Nivens (Mike) Summers of Cameron, Rene Coker (Damon) Rose of Branchville, and Lillian Rembert Blackwood of Bluffton; and great-grandchildren, Maggie Nivens, Hunter Summers, Avary Summers, Brennan Blackwood, and Arabella Rembert.
