Elizabeth "Lib" Dantzler

Elizabeth "Lib" Dantzler, 84 of Eutawville, South Carolina, wife of Melvin Dantzler, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at The Medical University of South Carolina.

Born on April 28, 1938 in Holly Hill, South Carolina Lib was a Daughter of the late Beatrice Coker Felkel and Edward Felkel.

Lib worked for many years for Standard Savings and Loan in Orangeburg and Columbia as a banking specialist.  She enjoyed reading, fishing and was an avid bird watcher. Lib was a member of Target United Methodist Church were she served on several committees and sang in the choir.

Lib is survived by her husband, Melvin; a brother, Edward Felkel of Holly Hill, and many nieces and nephews. 

Lib is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mary B Voorhees.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11AM at Target United Methodist Church, Target Road.  The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Target United Methodist Church.
