David Leonard Bolen

David Leonard Bolen, 69 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, husband of Judy Bolen passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024.

Born on July 16, 1955 in Savannah, GA Leonard was a son of the late Mary Winningham Bolen and David Bolen.

Leonard was an avid football fan and loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs. He worked for many years as a Blue Print Designer. Leonard was always willing to lend a helping hand and will be greatly missed by his family.

Leonard is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Terry Bolen and Braford Bolen and a sister Brenda Wright.

David is survived by his wife; son Kevin Bolen; sisters Sandra Grice and Theresa Weeks (Vernon); brother Michael Bolen and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 26, 2024 from 1-2pm at Avinger Funeral Home. A service will follow at 2pm in the chapel with Pastor Randy Jackson officiating.  Burial will conclude at Eutawville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
