Daniel Rhame

Daniel Asa Rhame, 80 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Born on August 13, 1943 in Holly Hill, Daniel was the son, of the late Winnie Sweatman Rhame and Eugene Rhame.

Daniel was an avid farmer who loved working on his land and enjoyed the outdoors. Daniel will be remembered for his love of sharing his homegrown vegetables, especially his corn. When not working Daniel could be found in the woods or on the water hunting or fishing. Daniel took pride in extending an invitation to others to hunt his land and found great joy in their success after the hunt. He enjoyed the company of his faithful pet Lucy.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elmira Sweatman.

Daniel is survived by nephews, Carl (Bubba) Sweatman and Greg Sweatman and a great niece, Merissa Sweatman.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 13, 2024 from 6PM-8PM at Avinger Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11AM at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, 1910 Camden Rd.,Holly Hill.
