Connie Lynn Carson

Harleyville- Connie Lynn Carson, 66, wife of David A. Carson, passed away on August 29, 2017 at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday at Limestone Baptist Church in Dorchester with the Rev. Steve Mims, Pastor Charles Huston, and Preston Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Carson was born in Albertville, AL, a daughter of the late Ruth Cornelius and Furman E. Smith. She was a member of Limestone Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family. In addition to her husband, David, she is survived by daughters, Rebecca (Herbie) Bishop of Harleyville, Georgia (Jon) Smoak of Harleyville, and Bobbie Sue (Brad) Smoak of Summerville; a sister, Lois (Chuck) Whitaker of Harleyville; a brother Roger (Francine) Smith of Grover; grandchildren, Holly, Ashley-David Olmstead, Maxxwel Scully, Sevanna Carrol, Bailee Bishop, Gaylon Carson, Bobby, Hanna and Thomas Smoak.
