Barry K. Shropshier

VANCE - Barry Keith Shropshier, 58, of Vance, died Friday, November 7, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Avinger Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Allen and Rev. Ken Phelps officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Barry was born in Augusta, a son of Pliny H. Shropshier and Dreama Seals Shropshier. He was a true people person, he loved his family and especially his boys. Barry read his Bible every day. Surviving are his parents of Vance; and two sons, Caleb and Avery Shropshier, both of Charleston. Memorials may be made to the National Hemophilia Foundation (www.hemophilia.org) or a charity of choice.
