Anne Padgett Myers

Anne Padgett Myers, 64, passed on at her residence in Holly Hill on Tuesday, June 13, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, Eutawville. A reception for friends and family will follow in the Parish Hall. Anne was born in Charleston on Aug. 3, 1946, to Anna Couturier Padgett and Herbert Ellison Padgett. She was a lifetime resident of South Carolina and long-time member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Eutawville. She was employed for nearly 30 years at Edisto Gas Co. in Holly Hill. She is survived by a daughter, Carol A. (Tom) Sublett of St. Simons Island, Ga.; son, Brian Myers of Columbia; brothers, Haskell Padgett of Martinsville, Va., Harold Padgett of Cross and Michael Padgett of New Castle, Maine; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 9301 Medical Plaza Drive, Charleston, SC 29406. Avinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
