Anna Fitzsimons Gaillard

AUGUSTA - A memorial service for Anna Fitzsimons Gaillard, 53, of Augusta, Ga., will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2014 at The Church of the Epiphany, 12065 Old Number Six Hwy., Eutawville, SC, with the Rev. Tom Hendrickson officiating. A native of Eutawville, Anna was a daughter of the late Richard Kirk Gaillard and Harriet Clarkson Gaillard. She was a graduate of Holly Hill Academy, and attended Lander College. Anna worked at Fort Gordon and was involved in the Wounded Warrior Project. Surviving are sisters, Ann (Mike) Walters of St. George, Harriet (Louis) Jackson of Sumter, and Gabbe Gaillard of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Will Gaillard of Eutawville, Dick (Harriet) Gaillard of Chapel Hill, NC, and Jim Gaillard of Camden; a number of nieces and nephews; and many devoted friends. The family will receive friends after the service at the Gaillard Lake House at Red Bank Subdivision in Eutawville.
