Ann Joyner Pence

Ann Joyner Pence, 81, of Santee, South Carolina passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023. 

A native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Ann was born November 3, 1941 to the late Clyde Joyner and Virginia Shearin Joyner Everret.  She was married to the late Bill Pence. 

Ann is survived by her son, Robbie (Nancy) Wood and a grandson, James “JC” Wood, of Barnwell.

Ann lived a full, joyous life of servanthood. She loved all people and cherished her many friendships and connections. One of the greatest gifts she gave to those who loved her was in living out the truth that faith in God brings the ultimate peace. Her family is grateful for the care and kindness shown to her by the people of Santee Presbyterian Church and Bradford Village, and for her many other friends and caregivers.  

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023, 11am at Santee Presbyterian Church, 306 Bradford Blvd, Santee.
