Anita B. Renn

SANTEE - Mrs. Anita B. Renn, 87, of Santee Cooper Resort, Santee, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Eutawville with Rev. Tom Hendrickson officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard. Mrs. Renn was born in Southold, New York, a daughter of the late Winfield S. Bedell and Ruth Foster Bedell. She retired from the Harborfields School District in New York and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. She and her late husband, Harry N. Renn, moved to Santee in 1980. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Smith and her husband, John of Bluffton; a son, Kirk Renn and his wife, Gwen of Santee; a brother, Winfield Bedell of Delaware; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill.
